Today is the Spring Equinox, the day when there are as many light hours as there are dark ones.
While our lives are generally governed by our digital clocks (or analogue ones), it’s easy to forget how important these moments are. But our brains still respond to changes in the amount of light and, as new research suggests, that affects our thinking and our emotions.
We’ll be celebrating perhaps with a walk to see how many spring flowers are appearing, as they respond to things like day length and temperature.
On this day last year, we were lucky enough to see a partial solar eclipse.
Here’s a photo I took on the day.
Happy Equinox everyone.
